Waters waters waters

Holy water........ isn't all water holy????.... well yes; yes it is..... but some things can give it special meaning..... special connections.

Well of the Tooth.... is it just water? Well of the Back..... is it just water? There is a hollowed out bulaunn stone that is sitting in the crook of a tree up in the air.... it collects water.... people climb up to get a little... do you want some???

there is a well that is a spring of fresh water...... but it is just above the low tide point.... most of the time it is under the sea..... women bring little egg shaped stones to it as offerings for a blessing of fertility...... would you sit and wait for low tide?.... would walk across the slippery stones to see it - to pray there??? it's only water - right???.... just simple water.... or is it a well under the sea.... where have you heard that described???

do rivers have goddess names??? or do goddesses have river names??? is it a river or a goddess??? Yes...... are you drinking from a river - or a goddess??? Yes.... are you bathing in a river or a goddess???? hahahaaha

it is a hot day and your skin burns like that time when you were a child and you were burning from a fever..... it is... it was... like you were on fire... are on fire..... you step into that river and it cools you..... like a cool hand on a fevered head..... maybe a mother.... maybe a nurse... but that cool hand..... remember how it felt... soothing the burn just like those waters.... those mothering rivers.... as cool as those motheing hands.

I sat by a cofffin.... saying good-bye... it wasn't easy..... I rested my head on those cool hands..... those cooling hands one last time....

All water is holy.... some waters are special.... some waters are like those cooling mothering hands.... healing.... holding.... quenching....

Blessings on and from all of those great mother rivers and all off those wells - and especially those wells that are just - there under the waves of the sea
